If you are applying for Probate and there is a property within the estate, then you will need to have this valued to satisfy HMRC requirements. It is important to get this process right. Undervaluing a property may lead to a challenge from HMRC together with a tax liability.

Our specialist partner obtains independent valuations from at least three of the best performing estate agents in each relevant location. The valuations are supported by applicable land registry data, along with appropriate comparable values. All this information is then presented within a comprehensive valuation report.

How It Works

Our specialist partner provides probate property services throughout the UK to help Personal Representatives. They can also help to organise the sale of probate properties in order to achieve the highest price from the sale.

There is no charge for the HMRC compliant valuation report if our specialist partner is managing the property sale. If they are only providing a valuation report, the cost is £195 + VAT.

RICS valuations and S119 reports are also available on request.
